I've painted this romantic dark angel on a 3/4 inch thick wooden plaque. I've used a dramatic palette of ochre, alizarin crimson and deep green for her robes and wings. I've finished the beveled edge in rich gold leaf lending a beautiful Baroque feel to this unique piece.
