A Woman in Blue Painting

Little Windflower

Detail

"The little windflower, whose just opened eye is blue as the spring heaven it gazes at."

~ William C. Bryant

Size: 16 X 20 in
40 X 50 cm

I continue to experiment with metallics and liquid gold leaf à la Klimt.
The colour blue is so crisp and clean, I like it against the porcelain tones of the woman's skin.
I've continued the painting around the staple free sides, so there is no need to frame. Your painting arrives ready to hang
