This shot was taken just minutes into my work on another Madonna painting, taken this morning after Jenna and I returned from our walk. Although I see this as a sort of early Renaissance styled piece rather than the Byzantine inspired piece I did earlier, I’d still like to use lots of liquid gold and silver leaf. We’ll see how the work continues.
