I've loved the art of Quebec artist Jean Paul Lemieux for many years.

When asked to do a large commissioned piece for a delightful collector I welcomed the inspiration of Lemieux. Two women, a mother and daughter, connected, yet independent,

their clear blue eyes gazing unfaltering at the viewer.
